Lopez / Alley

George Lopez & Kirstie Alley

Kirstie Alley won over fans and judges with her debut on Dancing with the Stars, but one person was not impressed.  George Lopez made some derogatory comments about Alley, comparing her to a pig with “little hooves tapping away.”  Alley’s supporters were outraged, causing Lopez to apologize via Twitter.  Alley, however, did not accept his feeble apology.  Instead, she attacked right back, drawing attention to the fact that Lopez received a kidney transplant from his wife and later divorced her.

In the end, neither party stood up to where they should be as role models.

It’s Everyone’s Fault But Charlie’s

Charlie SheenAfter ranting in a radio interview, CBS and Warner Brothers Television halted production of Two and a Half Men.  Sheen bad mouthed the show’s creator, Chuck Lorre, called the women in his life derogatory names, attacked Alcoholics Anonymous, and even jabbed at Thomas Jefferson.  He then demanded a million dollar raise per episode for a total of $3 million per episode.  Oh, and he also expects an apology from CBS, which he claims is trying to destroy his family.

However, it is Sheen himself who seems to be destroying his family.  His young twin sons were removed from his home after his ex-wife, Brooke Mueller, won a restraining order against him for allegedly threatening her.

Perhaps Miley Caused His Achy Breaky Heart

Billy Ray Cyrus has disrupted the calm around his family by publicly airing issues he has with his daughter, Miley Cyrus.

First, Billy Ray compared Miley to a train wreck, and then claimed that the Disney show “Hannah Montana” destroyed his family.  Miley, understandably, was upset.  At first, she defended her father, stating that GQ tricked him into making cruel statements; however, soon she discovered that was not the case.  When Miley found out that Dad was to appear on The View, she reportedly put a stop to it.

One tends to wonder exactly what is going on in the Cyrus household.  Billy Ray is quoted as being scared for his daughter.  He claims that there are “a lot of people around her that’s putting her in a great deal of danger.”

While that may (or may not) be true, it does not excuse Billy Ray for slandering his own daughter in a public forum.

Control Adversaries: Don’t let your enemies “rattle” you. Stay in control so you won’t get caught with your pants down.
